The CFM exam has 180 multiple-choice questions (160 scored, 20 unscored) presented in random order. Candidates can revisit skipped questions before submission. Exams run through Prometric CBT centers or online proctoring, with pass/fail determined by the Angoff method for statistical fairness.

Note: internships do not count toward FM experience.

Ethics Requirement

All candidates must complete an ethics evaluation within 30 days of passing the exam. Credentials are deactivated if this step is missed, so BMTC guides every candidate through the process to avoid delays.
